Larry H. Edwards

Larry H. Edwards, 85, died December 11, 2025, at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation. He was born June 20, 1940, in Benkelman, NE, to Herbert L. and Ruth Belle Edwards. Larry was an over the road truck driver for PFS and then retired from John Deere. He was a member of Homestead Friends Church. Larry proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 until he was honorably discharged in 1965.

On August 22, 1960, Larry married Rebecca A. Robinson in Haviland. They shared almost 62 years of marriage before Becky died on June 22, 2022.

Larry is survived by:  son, Tom Edwards and wife Michelle of Monument, CO; grandchildren, Annalese, Jaxson, Sophia, Weston and sisters, Leigh Rasmussen and Deannie Anderson.

Larry was reunited with his precious 5 children, Rick, Bradley, Brenda, Renee, and Larry “Todd” Edwards; granddaughter, Ashlynn Edwards; his parents; sister, Dolly Phillips and infant brother, Bernard J. Edwards.

Larry’s wishes were to be cremated and buried with his wife’s urn in Homestead Cemetery. No services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to Homestead Cemetery, in care of Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home PO Box 220 Cottonwood Falls, KS 66845.
